TERMS AND CONDITIONS<\/strong><\/p>

1. Introduction<\/strong><\/h3>

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website nlcc.com.na and the registration platform registration.nlcc.com.na (together, the “Website”), and your participation as a delegate, sponsor, exhibitor, speaker or media representative at the Namibia Local Content Conference & Exhibition (“NLCC”, “the Conference”, “we”, “us” or “our”).<\/p>

By accessing the Website or submitting a registration, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or register for the Conference.’<\/p>

2. Eligibility and Registration<\/strong><\/h3>
  • Registration is open to individuals and organisations with a professional interest in Namibia’s local content, energy, mining, marine services and green hydrogen sectors.<\/li>
  • You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering as a delegate, sponsor, exhibitor, speaker or media representative.<\/li>
  • We reserve the right to decline, suspend or cancel any registration at our discretion, including where information provided is false, incomplete or misleading.<\/li>
  • Separate terms, pricing and conditions may apply to sponsorship and exhibition packages, which will be communicated directly to sponsors and exhibitors.<\/li>

    3. Fees, Payment and Cancellation<\/strong><\/h3>
    • Applicable registration, sponsorship or exhibition fees will be communicated at the time of registration and are payable in accordance with the instructions provided.<\/li>
    • All fees are quoted exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.<\/li>
    • Cancellation, substitution and refund terms for registrations will be set out at the point of registration or in a separate Refund Policy; where no such terms are specified, fees are non-refundable except at our discretion.<\/li>
    • We reserve the right to amend fees for future editions of the Conference at any time.<\/li><\/ul>

      4. Event Changes and Cancellation by the Organisers<\/strong><\/h3>

      We reserve the right to change the date, venue, programme, speakers or format of the Conference, or to cancel or postpone the Conference, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, venue unavailability, insufficient registrations, government restrictions, or events of force majeure). Where reasonably possible, we will notify registered participants of any material change.<\/p>

      5. Code of Conduct<\/strong><\/h3>

      All attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and media representatives are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards other participants, staff, and venue personnel. We reserve the right to remove any person from the Conference, without refund, whose conduct we reasonably consider to be disruptive, unlawful, or inconsistent with the professional character of the event.<\/p>

      6. Intellectual Property<\/strong><\/h3>
      • All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images and the NLCC name and branding, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.<\/li>
      • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any content on the Website without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.<\/li>
      • By presenting or exhibiting at the Conference, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors grant us a non-exclusive licence to use their name, likeness, organisation logo and presentation materials for promotional and archival purposes related to the Conference.<\/li><\/ul>

        7. Photography, Recording and Media<\/strong><\/h3>

        The Conference may be photographed, filmed or recorded by our appointed media partners or us. By attending, you consent to being included in such photography or recordings, and to their use by us for promotional, archival or reporting purposes related to the Conference, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.<\/p>

        8. Third-Party Links and Services<\/strong><\/h3>

        The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including the registration platform and social media pages. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any third-party website, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.<\/p>

        9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/h3>
        • The Website and information relating to the Conference are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.<\/li>
        • We do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.<\/li>
        • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website or attendance at the Conference, save where such liability cannot be excluded by law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).<\/li>
        • Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, insurance and health and safety precautions in connection with the Conference.<\/li><\/ul>

          Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Website and the Conference is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.<\/p>

          We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Conference programme, or for legal or regulatory reasons.
